The Brain

A journey through the brain no ordinary thing, the seat of consciousness and dynamic with limitless landscape.  It does not expand or shrink; it is like a sort of antenna by which your spirit might communicate with your body. Its most basic function is to keep the rest of the body alive. Among the brain’s 100 billion neurons, some regulate your breathing, heartbeat, and blood pressure. Others control hunger, thirst, sex drive, and sleep cycle. It also generates the emotions, feelings, and thoughts that guides the behavior which directs and execute actions; and is responsible for the conscious awareness of the mind itself.
